Had a group of very young dental tecgnicians in the shop today and shiwed them how dlp works. Also warned them ro use proper resin and not this one.

Hi all,
is there a way in Chitubox to add supports at a position that is above another part of the object? In the picture I try to place support at this claw but Chitubox won't let me because it could not place the support at the build plate but would have to connect it to the other part of the object.

Well...honest review. The new photon S is amazing. After 5 prints in 3 days I can say that:
-is faster than the first photon. I dont know why cause the settings are exactly the same but print faster.
-no z wobble

I will continue trying new options but at this point, the printer is really good.

Can I use the Photon UV screen to cure my small projects?

I was thinking of creating a rectangle file and setting the exposure time to 5 min and placing my project on the resin tank.

What we really need is software to 'examine' our model and rotate it to an optimum orientation and save as this stl so we can then import to our slicer and add supports and slice. Seems to me that this would be useful to so many.

Hey guys! Looking for some more advice. Say I'm printing a basic ring shape. What is the best orientation to print it?
I've tried 45 degrees with support (chitibox at around 65% density, medium)
But I find that I get some shape deformation on the bottom surface. Any ideas?
