Hello everyone,
I am faced with a little trouble, how can we save our work in progresse slt with support, and keep the model and support separately ? if i save in STL it merge all and i cant delet or add new support. it's a bit painly to finish and slice your STL and discover after print that some support are missing, and you need to do all the work again....
i've tried :
- photon workshop 1.0.0
- anycubic slicer 1.3.6
- ChiTu DLP Slicer

Sometimes when i print i get these Lines on my prints - and i continuosly get these “curtains” around my supports .... any ideas why ??

Tallest print so far. Was happy to see there weren't any signs of a periodic wobble. It'll be interesting to see how well the geometry holds up once I print the bottom half of this joystick shell.

Hey guys just recieved my photon yesterday, cant wait to start printing with it.
Im having a problem where the screen doesnt seem to be dark enought to block the uv, the square pattern is there tho. Ive contacted anycubic bt had no reply as so far

Hello. I'm brand new to the group and just got my first Photon. Previously I've been using a Prusa MK3.

I'm having an issue with adhesion. I followed Flint Reed's leveling advice but don't get any part of the print to adhere. Instead as soon as the print is high enough to see in the vat, I can see a solid mass in the resin with nothing attached. I feel pretty certain the z height is set right but wondering if maybe I should sand the plate some. I've verified the FEP film is nice and tight. I also set the base layers to 100 to try something different and am using the resin that comes with the printer.

Any insight or advice would be helpful.

So I see people post their printing cabinets and enclosures all the time, so I thought I would share mine. I just put this together yesterday.

I took an old entertainment center, the kind that were made for big screen CRT TVs with the closing doors on the front, and made it into my printing cabinet.

First I cut out an exhaust vent on the side near the top, then I closed up the big hole in the back that was originally intended for the back of the CRT to stick through for so it wouldn't overheat. I left a slot about 2 inches wide open across the bottom for cords and for air to vent in.

Next I ordered this fan/filter combo from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/…/B01MSEVQ3J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_ti… ) and with a little hardware from Home Depot I mounted it to the top inside the cabinet.

Finally I hung a power strip in the back of the cabinet and put my printers in it. Now there is zero noticeable odor when I am printing with the doors closed, and it keeps it nicely temperature controlled. Even my wife, who has a super-sniffer, can't smell it.

I keep the cabinet in my office and it's quiet enough that even with the fan on high I can be on a conference call for work and no one can tell. It makes less overall noise than my central air or a box fan. I am super pleased with it. Now, let the printing commence!!

Oh, I forgot to mention, when I have the Photon door fully open there is just a couple of inches clearance from the bottom of the fan/canister, but it opens all the way without issue.

Quick question, what would be the reason for my photon being generally terrible at large flat planes? Each time I've tried the surfaces have come up super bumpy and warped. I'm assuming it's a leveling issue but I don't know if it's something else. One of the models I'm printing is split into multiple pieces and each one has a large square face that I have to glue together.
