Today i will start printing with my new photon but i wanted to know if there are any disadvantages with unplugging the fan because i saw this helps with the bad smell. Do i have to unscrew anything? Thanks for your answers

Does anyone have suggestions about the best way to cut up this figure or how to attach the cape after it prints?

Or thoughts on how to make the sword sturdier?

I need to airbrush her armor chrome and then paint the rest by hand (was thinking in investing in some real model paints instead of cheap acrylics), so I was thinking perhaps cutting her up in such a way where she'd be more easily accessible.... Something like taking off shoulder and hip armors and glue them on after painting, separate cloak and weapon for printing, cut her torso off under the armor on her stomach, perhaps try to separate the hair maybe?

I've never printed anything like this on my resin printer or done anything that needs to get pieced together later, so any thoughts are welcome :) Thanks!

Drop in Z axis kit is partially a go, ~$100ish, all surfaces that matter precision ground/cnc machined, spine and gantry mount both made from billet.

I need to draw it up and build a prototype then it'll be a kickstarter or somesuch to make sure the min quantity to justify a run is sold.

Got this new Resin, but can’t get it to work!
I have tried the exposure test, 7seconds is best, the producer said 4-8seconds.

The viscosity is quite low, almost like milk.
Didn’t stick well at first, tried all the way from 55-90 seconds on 10 bottom layers.
New FEP film,
Just leveled my bed, but the print didn’t stick to the supports, allthough they were „heavy” any advice?

Inspired by others in this group, I made a contraption out of 1.5 mm styrene to catch the smell. Not that I think it does smell bad at all, but it's in my kitchen/living room, so I like to keep it healthy. The fan is connected to one of the other fan connectors the mother board.

So I ordered another LCD screen but this one came with a straight cable instead? I connected it to my photon and the screen just shows up blank. Not sure if it's because it's different kind of screen(the listing did say it is for 3D printers) or because I have to Ben's it to plug it to the board so it didn't plug in snuggly enough?
