Hey guys, I just rigged together this filter to try to minimise the resin smell, remixed from the vent adaptor by DocTanner on thingiverse. The filter is a cooker hood charcoal filter from B&Q. No additional fan, but in conjunction with sticking strips of neoprene around the door it seems to be working pretty well, the smell is now much less noticeable, and certainly not filling the entire house like it was previously, much to my partner's annoyance :)

Morning everyone. Has anyone in the group had any experience with "engineering" quality resins?

Particularly ones of high straight and robustness. Similar to the Formlabs resins but without the price.

And would these be compatable with a photon?

Has anyone played around with Slic3r Prusa Edition. In their new Alpha you can slice for their upcoming SL1. Looks really nice, this is a slicer that would be awesome to be able to use with the photon.
Sure you can use it for supports and export the stl but I like the way slic3r have material profiles and stuff like that. There are corrections for size and material shrinkage and lots of fun stuff.
And its open source so maybe someone alot smarter then me can make something with it.

AmeraLabs Resin. (AMD3 I believe)

A few things I’d like to say about testing a resin that claimed to be easy to clean.

It was fucking easy to clean. One dip into the IPA and it was done. No smell no nothing. Detail speaks for itself. Thank you for sending me a sample to play with! Also shout out to Daniel Herrero for the dragon!!
