Does anyone have an idea about this problem? Looks like at a specific layer, lcd stopped working and then continued as normal. Notice all supports and other stuff has been cut at the same level? What may have caused this issue. I was able to print fine before and now this started.

I have other failed prints like this and they all end up same but not at the same layer height.

Probably nobody cares, but in case someone does - I left a model on the build plate and resin in the vat for 2 months in a blue window version that sits about 6 feet from a window but does not receive direct sunlight.

After 2 months, the model is still OK without post-cure. I was able to easily remove the model from the build-plate. There was still liquid resin on the build-plate, although it was thicker than normal.

The resin in the vat had separated, but had not congealed, skinned, or cured. I was able to stir it back up and get it to mix. The vat was a little low, so I added a little bit of fresh resin from the bottle to the vat and mixed it in good.

I successfully printed a model immediately afterwards.

All this to say - unless your printer is in direct sunlight, you shouldn't have reason to be concerned about resin life in the vat for at least several weeks.

Hello Everyone, I am new to this. I purchased a Photon from amazon and all I'm having with it is problems.

1.) as soon as I took it out of the box, I followed the instructions and did everything as it said. I started printing, but the models were stuck to the film on the resin vat and they were not sticking to the platform. The vat did come with a bunch of scratches, could this be why I'm having problems?

2) i tried printing another model, but this time nothing is printing! The only thing moving is the Z axis. I checked the UV lights before and they were working fine. I see no signs of cured resin.

3) every time I try to level the build plate, it just can't get perfect. It looks like the Z axis assembly is bent but I can't tell.

4) what are your settings for clear resin? I'm going off the spreadsheet online but clearly it's not working. Also, is it ok to add resin while it's printing is paused?? Sometimes I will print big items and it will start running low.
