Hi everyone.

I would like to ask how you dispose of your excess resin/waste material?

I have been desperately wanting the Photon for a while but have recently decided I should probably purchase the Ender 3 as PLA is degradable and non-toxic.

I can't bare the thought of my waste material entering the water table or land-fill.

I just tried an experiment, I had a bit of grey resin left in the tank, that was the last of it, looking around I still had some green clear resin left over, so in it went and I mixed it with the grey, started a print, three hours later, the prints came out great

So I am hoping to buy a resin based printer soon. :D

I just need a little help picking one out. I've been eyeballing the Photon for a long time, but I've noticed more and more options are cropping up on Amazon. What should I *really* look for in terms of specs?

Also in terms of upkeep, what is considered "consumable" on the printer and how much do the replacements cost on average?

Also what resins are recommended?

Resin noob looking for tips on supports. From what I can see auto supports seem very wasteful and unnecessary. What are some general rules you guys follow to creating supports? I tilt my models 30 degrees but I'm not sure I understand why ?‍♂️

Anyone know if UV light will reflect off silver Mylar? I was thinking of making my own UV curing box. Not sure if aluminum foil or Mylar would be a better coating? Thoughts?
