Just set up my printer and did my first print . Came out great , my question is on the leveling of the bed . I hear almost like a suction sound/ sticking sound when the plate lifts during printing . Is this normal? Or do I have my plate down too much and need to relevel?

Put together this fully articulated doll I finished printing the parts for last night in AnyCubic “Skin”. Some parts could probably do with printing again Cus I got some warping around supports ? . I Sculpted using meshmixer & sculptris ?

Hey thanks for adding me! A question for the group. I am planning to buy a photon today, But all of my prints will be from my own cad designs to be used as masters to make molds from. So because of this the colour of the resin is irrelevant to me, as well as strength and durabilty, Can anyone recommend a resin that offers the best print times and fidelity/detail quality?

Just when you think you got it it all goes south! So I can do the really fine detail but something as simple as a cylinder for a tube in resin printing proves to be an achievement, if you notice on the tube with the lines in it the disc inside the tube is printed at an angle that's because I printed the tube on an angle in an attempt to get a complete print. Standing them up or printing them flat on the bed results in a failed print.

Ok folks - looking for some more help. Still trying to print this damn figure. Gone through . 5l of resin with almost nothing to show for it. I am sure it's operator error and there is a learning curve, but it would be nice to get some good prints. Without supports - fine. With supports - not so much.

Still figuring out orientation and supports. In the pics below, the top looks great, but the part surrounded by the supports looks like hamburger. Also, notice the small layer at the back. I almost thought that was plastic and that I had not reovee the protective film from the FEP, but it's not. FEP looks great and it was indeed resin. Not sure why it would have done that.

Thoughts on what to try next?
