Hello people ? .

I was thinking of answering another post but have another bunch of questions about the photon.

I'm a form2 user, very sarisfied with the machine (failure rate very low, precise manual support placement in Preform and very small supports tip, etc etc). I'm looking for a secondary resin printer to try to lower production costs for miniatures production, and currently looking at both the Moai and the Photon.

I did have a Wanhao D7 and couldn't achieve a decent print. Horrible Z wobble, very imprecise so didn't fit my requirements. Maybe I had a bad machine, I don't know.

The pro of the Photon is its low price both resin and machine. I see rather positive feedback on it but still have a few questions :

1. As I don't have much room left, I was wondering if it was possible to rince the prints from both machine in the same ISO alcohol container or could this cause issue with the cleaning with twi types of resin dissolved in the same tank ?

2. Is there a simple way to add a température regulation in the print chamber ? Tried same print with formlabs resin with and without the heating, and the resin is much more fluid when heated and yields far better results on the form2.

3. Is this printer really reliable ?

4. Does the software allows for manual support placement ? Don't want to have a forest of supports when only a dozen is required ? .

Hello beloved Photon community. I’m new to the hobby and have had a mix of successes and failures (to be expected). I have to say that simply reading through these posts has helped me immensely in resolving issues...So thanks for that!

I do have one question regarding curing. What determines time required to properly cure? I bought a 110V, 10W UV LED light and am using the Anycubic resin included with the printer. Are we talking a couple minutes? 15 minutes? Dependent on size of part?
Just looking for a good way to gauge this.

Hi, a quick question.

Is there an easy way to find the biggest file in a set?

I quick often find that when I get something from Thingiverse that it will be split into quite a few parts.

Thats of course is good, but what do you do when the parts don't fit - I try scaling it down, but usually find that theres a bigger part in there somewhere, which means I have to start over until I get through them all and find the size to scale it down to.

There must be a better way.

Je serais en mesure de commander une anycubic photon sous peu mais j'ai besoin à l'avance d'avoir un modèle.
