My new Photon must have had one hell of a static charge. Resin was leaping off the build platform onto the yellow plexiglass!

Printing my first model, the PHOTON now. Wish me luck.

Help all!

Just got my photon and went to level the platform but it looks like it doesn't actually have the screw. Can anyone confirm or am I being dumb?

Can I use one of the extra screws provided or is it different?

More of the same recent print, I need to replace my FEP but the good side of it still gave me great results, the white spray coat has removed some of the detail but I’m really enjoying this, I’d like to get the legs done then make a little stand for her.

It’s all about the clothes, because doing good characters is hard but I can Marvellous Designer all day.

I have a bit of an odd question, resinaway is basically just propylene glycol, has anyone tried using non-toxic antifreeze to wash prints?

It's mostly distilled water and propylene glycol with some pink coloring.

Evening all, a couple of noob questions.

Firstly, which is best to use, Ispropyl Alcahol or Methylated Spirits? and what is the best % proof to go for.

Secondly, as I intend to use my Photon for miniature model making I wanted to use a grey resin, to show detail. What is the best grey coloured resin out there?

Darkelf Witchqueen finally assembled.
Size is around 150 millimeters without base.

It's a 3D-kitbash of 4 different models. Legs/torso/arms/face from thingyverse to which i modelled a headpiece with needle-hair, locks and horns.

Added a sprayover of grey primer to bring out the details.

My colleague got stung buy a sting ray, this was my first go combining an editing stls (I had to bend the tail of the ray around so it was in the foot).
