Anyone added a resin tank heater to their Photon? Should be pretty easy with a silicone heater strip and a PID controller... That would mitigate a lot of the variations that are caused by changes in environment temperature.

So, did my first print with formlabs ceramic resin and it came out great but I ran into 2 problems: the fep ( very little use ) got punctured and the part got really stuck to the plate and part of it broke when I took it off. Maybe the exposures are too long ? What could cause the fep to break? Thanx

Ok, new problem ?
Made print of the test cube. Great success. But!
Flatbed is loose after the print. Did a new z=0, locked the flatbed. Print.
Flatbed loose again. So loose, that slight touch makes it move. The screw is secured inside its socket... weird.
What to do? What happened?

"Nest a Cube"
(quick calibration test model)

Quick test for dimensional accuracy tweaking.
Use this to dial in resin tolerances for parts that are meant to fit together, pegs, etc.
Quick 1 1/2 hour print, 0.05 layers, standard settings for anycubic green.
Other resins or layer heights, times will vary.
Saves on resin too!

Print cubes as is. Slice and print.
Sleeve cube is 10 x 10 x 10mm.
Walls are 1mm.
Solid nesting cube is 7.8 x 7.8 x 8.9mm.

Tweak exposure settings until the solid cube can slide into the sleeve cube snugly. Sleeve cube has a hole on top so you can push solid cube back out.

Bonus! Check for Z Wobble and other anomalies. Fast print to verify accuracy. Print both together!

Stupid question guys...weight of resin piece solid is the same as liquid used? Example piece weight 150gr, this means you waste 150ml in resin?.

I ask this cause I need to calculate how much models I can print with a bottle, thanks!.

*I know some extra resin is always lost on each print but I need an average calculation...

Hello,
I think I remember someone facing this some days back. My printer print some random part that are not on the stl nor on the photon file.

Here are some pictures of two print with the issue (2 in a row ...) :

Do you have an idea on what could be causing this ?
I'm also in touch with photon support (who does not respond fast ... at all, only one email from them for now...)

Ok. Sooo im having problems with getting the Anycubic Maroon resin to stick on the build plate. I have tried so many different settings its getting silly but i cant get it to work.
