This time a question or two. So in the reprint of the stern I took off the printer this morning, I noticed some weird artifacts that I haven’t seen before. I see there were variations in the layers. I don’t t recall that happening before. Maybe it’s just the way the light is catching the print. Also, I notice some strange “sheeting” I guess on some of the surfaces. Any idea what could be causing this?

My settings were 0.05 thickness, 10sec exposure, 100sec bottom exposure with 25 bottom layers.

So I did this last night. I won’t say how because it’s stupid and embarrassing. But a bunch of work and resin down the drain. Probably better I guess. I made so many mistakes, I was having to do a ton of post processing and it was just not coming together.

I bet this is a simple issue but any idea why this happened? It was supposed to be the burj khalifa lol. I just printed a successful print before this same resin same settings. Should print even a tower at 30 degrees?

The burj model has a big circular base but I offset it from the bed and used plenty of large supports.

Hello all.
I am new to SLA DLP printing, yesterday orderd Anycubic Photon. My question is: What else I need to run this little machine? I already ordered some UV lights to make curing station (I have Anycubic kossel linear plus so that won't be a problem). Do I need to order anything else for finishing prints?

Took me exactly one week of non-stop printing Miniatures and other small items i needed to print to use up the 250ml bottle that came with my Photon. Resin is expensive but it doesn't seem to go through it super quick. I'm actually pretty happy about how so little is used. Each miniature i print is between 8ml-15ml. Making each miniature cost around 70 cents to a little over a dollar. For the quality of the prints, there is no beating it.
