A question for the hive mind!!
This morning after a successful print, I have a very strange issue.
I went to start a new print and my printer exposes the first layer, then powers off!! Full printer shuts down and restarts. Any ideas what the cause might be???

A few weeks ago I asked if anyone had tried mixing Anycubic resins with Monocure Flex and the general response was, “Don’t.” The idea being that the two formulas just didn’t play nicely together.

I tend not to listen to advice, even if I asked for it, so I gave it a shot anyway. My attempt was 50/50 AC Red to MC Flex. The first owlbear was under cured at 8s per layer. MC Flex likes a longer cure time so I bumped it to 12s and the results were beautiful.

Given the loose supports I'm going to recommend boosting the layer exposure further. Maybe to 14 or 16. I'm set for things to paint for a bit but I'll try it on my next one.

Hi, everyone. Just changed from anycubic transparent yellow to anycubic solid orange. Is it normal for anycubic orange to be so liquid and less viscuous/sticky than transparent yellow ?

Well I'm no longer just a photon stalker. Got mine tonight and first print going. After of course Amazon delivered it to the wrong house and I was checking all my neighbors porches for my boxes. Pretty sure there's a Ring video of me swiping my own boxes and cursing the Amazon driver.

My printer is coming in tomorrow, and after I get all the tests and calibrations done I want this to be my first real print. It should stand 68mm tall when all together so it's not tiny. I want to minimize the chances that I get a failed print so I want to run this by the group first and get feedback. Don't want to needlessly waste material.

The model parts are hollowed at 1mm thickness and have drain holes. I've raised them 3mm from the bed and made sure to keep the supports from getting too close to the parts. what are your thoughts on this? Think it'll print fine as is or do I need changes? Hopefully these angle screenshots show what's needed. If not I'll see if I can make a video while rotating it.

I just received my Anycubic today. Haven't even pulled the protective plastic wrap off, so far from a test run. My highly noob question. If I have a very high poly 3d model will it be hindered if I was to shrink it considerable for printing? Example: Taj Mahal high poly printed to 4 cm length 4 cm high? I have been looking at all of your guys prints on here and your level of expertise is way beyond myself, so I appreciate any feedback.
