Homo sapiens,

Today I took a step into a direction I never thought I would. I sanded my god damn build plate. Charlie wrote an amazing article about why our photons are crippled by the paint, and after a print that was clearly not flat against then plate, I was inclined to try his advice.

The results are spectacular. Ask me all the questions.

Hi!
Maybe you can help me?

Photon printer was freezing and restarting a few times yesterday. When I was run it today morning, printer without any problems was printing large 9 hours print. Then I wanted start new print and after a printing a first layer a printer was freezing and restarting. And now, every time - first layer, and stop. So maybe so tight Z calibration? So I made a new Z calibration, like usual, problem is still here. Look please on video:

​Do you have please any advice? Printer is week old (resp. at home), second FEP, totally about 12 prints or so.

hey folks. my photon has started printing nothing. when i look at the UV, its sort of lighting up the screen rather than the hollow rectangle. whats the cause of this??

Any python programmers willing to contribute to the Photon File Editor?

As you may know we ( https://github.com/Photonsters ) are writing an photon file editor, which not only allows for editing print settings (e.g. modify a photon file for other resins), but also editing of layer(pixel)s and links to plugins like the Validator, Voxel Viewer and Gyroid Infill.

Next up is improving the layer editor, implementing manual supports and speedimprovement of the slicer and 3d viewer.

Programming is mainly done by me, but my time is becoming more limited (new job) and the Editor is getting more complex and larger than I can handle myself. So if you have Python (3) knowledge and are willing to help out, please let me know!
