so I spilled resin on my pants... i got them off and cleaned myself up quick so I'm ok, but how do I clean my pants properly? just throw them in the wash?

I’d soak them in alcohol first

Probably not. Resin is bad for septic and sewer systems, plus it is hazmat.

where can I order or buy a leveling upgrade for my photon? I"m starting to have this issue where after every single print the plate is just a tiny bit loose. i'm still getting good prints so I just want to get ahead of the problem.

the guy in europe that was making them never responded to my order attempt. I just want a nice machined easy level upgrade.

I'd say you should try taking the plate apart first, a lot of people say that there are some inner screws becoming loose

i will do this but I still want to get a better plate levelling system. the ball join is not as good as the custom ones people have made.

The plate will become loose if you get resin in the joint. Its a good idea to take it to pieces and clean with acetone (acetone eats resin much better than ipa).

You can print yourself a better leveling system. Like this:

well I pulled it apart and cleaned it so that did fix the wiggling issue, I still want a machined easy leveler though. doesn't someone want my money?!

Some of you saw my wild supports and thought it might fail :D

Well you were right and wrong! It didn't fail in the wild and weird supported zone but the basic supports on the arm completely failed and I can't imagine why. I added a few medium supports to that area in the hopes it will hold better and I'm going again :)

I am getting a very strange failure and I don't understand how it's happening. The angels left foot is missing and it seems like the bundle of supports under the foot came undone and then the entire leg failed.

No other supports are ripping off like that. Could it be because it's near the edge of the build plate?

anyone ever had a print just come out mirrord? I just printed the same thing I've printed a few dozen times without changing the .chitubox file I slice from. (I go back to that one so I can edit supports that don't work perfect).

so yeah, just one random print and the entire thing is mirrored?

2 questions.

1. My new bottle of anycubic green prints in this faded dark army green colour instead of the candy green see through of the last bottle. Shook it right up and no change. Is this ok?

2.Looking into upgrading to anti aliasing firmware, how do I know which photon I have and which firmware to use?

I finally feel like I'm getting good prints. I did notice in the light you can still see the layers but those don't show under paint and you can't even feel them so I'm still quite happy.

I've been trying too Google this but I'm obviously describing the problem to google wrong.

I printed 80 bolt pistols in neat rows of 10. The print went perfect except that all of them have a tiny wiggle in them along the barrel that is noticable and some of them are very warped as if they softened and warped.

They're small so pics might not help.

Also the brand new bottle of green is super dark and opaque instead clear and looking like candy?

Any help would be appreciated thanks.
