So I've just done my best and worst print at the same time haha. Loved the deadpool bust that has been shown a few times so thought I'd give it a go. Decided to print with anycubic white (first time printing with white).

So. Let's start with the 'worst' bit.... I made 2 copies. A solid one for a mini and a hollow for a 10cm version..... guess what. About 1/4 way through the print I noticed I'm printing a 10cm SOLID version!!!. I knew the battle between fep and plate would be won by the fep ?

Went to bed and left it running anyway with hopefully enough resin to potentially finish it.

Woke up this morning to this! Guess I've nailed the bed leveling and print settings for this print haha. Happy man. Best print to date ?

Settings: .05 10 60 6.5 10 (sliced with supplied sliced v1.3.3) 2000 layers with ZERO supports and base flat on bed!

So been having fun with my printer and am almost out of the green sample bottle. I know there are lots of comments regarding smell/fumes but I didn’t find it that bad (indoors but well ventilated). How do other colours/brands compare for smell? Happy to stick with the anycubic stuff for now but will likely branch out down the track. Thanks ?

Last question for the day I promise haha. Had a successful print and now trying the test cube. So far it’s printing fine but I can see the part flexing as it raises due to it sticking slightly to the FEP. Is this a setting issue? As stated the print is looking good @ 50% completed but I’d like to reduce the sticking force for future

What software are people generally using to design their parts? Need to make some custom bits. Happy to learn something thats more complex if it will be suitable long term.

Hi all. I'm waiting for my printer to arrive but one of the things I'd like to try and print requires m3 (3mm) screws to secure it to a carbon fibre piece. What resin would have the right properties for this? Will the standard resins crack even with holes printed? Guess I'm looking for a resin with a slightly flexible finish?
