I used to have the problem that my plate would never move even when loosened. Now it stays loose no matter how much I tighten it. I suspect that I have resin or debris inside. I see several other who had this problem and the solution was to take the plate apart. However, the recommendations just say to take it apart without elaboration. What tool do I need to take the plate apart?

Thanks to anyone who can provide insight.

ETA: I was able to remove 2 screws from the plate but the other two will not budge (I fear stripping them). Thoughts on how to remove them?

Check to make sure you don't have two set screws. Sometimes they mess up put second on top of the first. Back it all the way out and see if there is another one in there.

Do you happen to know what tool that I need to take this plate apart? I have heard of two screws being inside but I am not sure what tool that I need.

Vladia M Vittler Woods use allev wrench to keep loosening the screw until it comes all the way out and then check to see if there is another screw in hole.

i have a stripped screw as well. i just put the whole thing in my ultrasonic for 10minutes

Drill out the heads, start with a a small drill bit and work you way up to the head diameter. Go slow and eventually you should be able to gently pry up the plate and pop the heads off. Just had to do that on a vat where one screw stripped.

Suggestions for loosening the plate. I had 2 successful prints yesterday but the 2nd one was larger. I removed the plate and releveled. Next 2 prints have failed. Now the plate won't budge. I'm clueless as to how to fix it. Maybe I stripped the screw or something, but should I go about fixing a too tight plate.

I’m sure this is a beginner’s mistake, but I am attempting to use the paper method for leveling. The paper is still moving without resistance and the plate cannot be lower any further (see video attached). Suggestions or advice? Thank you

Assistance appreciated. My husband and I set out to do our test print. I found it really strange because I thought the test print was supposed to be a cube but the item printed matches the file on the USB drive. 7 of 8 printed successfully and I found number after cleaning the vat (as seen in the photo). Is this leveling issue, and if so, are there any ideas for how to remedy this? Also, how can I remove the failed print from the vat?

I have a quick question. My husband and I are in the middle of assembling the Anycubic Photon that we bought. In many of the photos I see online, the windows on the doors and sides are transparent. Ours are opaque and don't seems to have anything to tear away. What am I missing? Thank you ♡
