Hey y'all

Any help ? My Photon Validator, while working perfectly with others .photon files, gets stuck on "Loading..." for eternity with nothing happening with this one. I tried to re-slice it, save it as another file, etc... it doesnt work. What could it be ?

I am a wargamer considering buying the Photon for detailed miniatures (28mm scale) and also some bigger busts and 1/8 figures. I am very impressed with the quality of the Photon and other resin printers, it just amazes me what those machines are capable of! ?

Originally, I just wanted to say hi ? but when I was writing this, a question popped up in my mind - do I need to use some special photopolymer resin or is the regular epoxy resin or such just fine? (I'm pretty concerned about the photopolymer resin price, a quick check returned about $60 price for 1 l ? )

Also, I find it amazing that this printer gathered such a vast and helpful community, never have I found so many materials to learn from! Thanks to everyone who shared their knowledge, one way or another! ?

Hello, anyone have the same problem?
Slicing stopping on the 39%, STL model, resized in Z-Suite. Also I left slicing for the night but nothing happend I7 6700K, geforce960m, 32gb ram, ssd 翻譯年糕

Which slicer would be the Simplify3D for SLA? ChituBox is ok, Prusa is ok but no software is really good. It is not nice to have to use multiple software to get part ready for printing.

I have used Simplify3D with my FDM printer and it just works. It is super fast, simple, logical and good. Design a model, pop it in Simplify and it does the rest.

Hi All,

Bought my Photon in November last year from AnyCubic's eBay store. It sat in its box in my office until this last weekend when an opportunity presented itself to create something.

Unboxed it, set it up following the instructions and all was well apart from the plate not tightening up and when I tried to use it the USB port wasn't working.

Contacted Anycubic, Then found this site and the comments about the plug falling out of the motherboard during transit. Opened her up and sure enough that was the issue. Plug back in and USB stick is readable. So cancelled that ticket with Anycubic :-)

Dismantled the print plate to find the reason the grub screw was't working was there was already one deep in the hole.! Using that one the head could be levelled and locked in place. :-)

However. Now the unit wasn't working at all. Z-axis jammed stationary but making a motor drive noise like it was trying, fans not working and main LCD dead.

Contacted Anycubic (again) and their customer support have been extremely rapid and helpful. Sent me a print to run that generates a diagnosis file. When I sent it to them they assessed it as a faulty motherboard.

Asked for my delivery details for a replacement which I gave them and got a message today saying its on its way to me.!! The tracking info they gave me suggests its coming from local so fingers crossed unit will be all fixed and running very soon.

I recently got my Anycubic Photon and I have done a few small print, but not very successfully.

I'm about to do another small print, in the picture. They are not very big.

The slicer is telling me 5 hours to print them !! ?

Is resin printing always this PAINFULLY slow? Or am I doing something very wrong.

I'm using the recommended settings for the resin. Wanhao grey resin.
