Looking at picking up a photon. Before I buy, I have 2 concerns, first is the ability to refill the reservoir, the size of the files I'll be doing will take up a majority of the print bed. The second concern is rigidity of the resin, I'll need a resin that will hold up to handling, as well as has no issues being in a damp to humid environment. I have had success with FDM printing with the same concepts but want to expand into a better resolution medium.

HI Folks.
Just received my Photon 'S'
When I went to the Photonics.org they specifically stated that they did not cater for the 'S' model.
Is there a group that handles the 'S".

I have enough 3D printer knowledge to read the standard documentation and understand where the differences between the two - however it be nice to find a group that can cater for the 'S' Mods.

Current workshop. Tevo Black Widow (Heavily modded), 8W Laser attachment (Specs tell me it's 16W but :) ), C-Beam CNC with 400W Spindle.

So here's my question for the day I did my first print over the weekend I'm starting my second one now I left the vet filled with resin it started my new run I just added a little bit more to it is that okay or is that a no no I thought I read on here but that's okay

First Print! Skipped the cube test and went right for a model i downloaded for free. Trial by fire. No idea what I was doing, but it came out .. OK? I made it way smaller than I should of with heavy supports, probably should of used light. Wish I would of made it bigger now. I used Anycubic grey resin. Here’s the print and my settings!

Need help with a Photon S problem. Does anybody ever find that when you go to the click print and it brings up the preview screen, that certain files freeze up the machine and you can't click print (or anything)? Some files this happens on, others it does not. I'm not sure how to resolve it. Sometimes reslicing the file fixes it, and sometimes just copying it back over the .photons file fixes it. I've ruled out the memory card as I've encountered the issue across 3 different known good cards (none of which came with the machine.) Any ideas?

So, got myself one of the recommended CO-Z ultrasonic cleaners (testing here on a pair of my eyeglasses—I don’t even want to talk about all the schmutz I see wafting off in little cloudy tendrils).

The instructions were...lacking. Poorly translated, and more warnings about how not to use it vs. how to actually use the thing.

My main concern is that the lid doesn’t sit tightly when the basket is in—not to mention rattles like a freight train when it’s running. Am I to assume the lid is not meant to be used during operation, and is more just a cover for periods between uses?
