I’m in need of some help, I just got my photon on Wednesday and the test print cube come out perfectly. Then I went to print some minis for D&D and only the base for the minis printed. Now when I attempt to print the plate is going into the VAT and then keeps trying to go lower but it cant. I’ve attempted to re-home by lowering it down and then pulling the paper out but that didn’t fix the issue. Anyone have any advice? ?

First print with Elegoo Black.
Used the settings from the spreadsheet.
Bit the bullet and started a 10h45 print.
Seems to work so far...

Did a print with translucent Red yesterday. No trouble at all.

I'm gonna give this thing 12 more hours. If I can't get it to work by the end of the day, I'm moving on. In my last thread, I described my attempts to try to get a print to stick. I had some initial success by removing the supports from my parts, but after a few good prints I was no longer able to reproduce the results. I ended up taking the printer apart and putting it back together. I disassembled and cleaned the entire plate assembly and as much of the interior as I could access. I tightened the FEP again. ̶N̶o̶w̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶I̶ ̶t̶u̶r̶n̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶p̶r̶i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶,̶ ̶I̶'̶m̶ ̶g̶r̶e̶e̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶a̶ ̶b̶l̶a̶n̶k̶ ̶d̶i̶s̶p̶l̶a̶y̶ ̶s̶c̶r̶e̶e̶n̶.̶ I love seeing the success stories on this group and I've been very motivated by the models other people are making, but my personal photon experience has been a total disaster. If I can't get this thing to work in the next 12 hours I'm calling it quits.

UPDATE SEPT 14: I think I finally figured it out, fam. After watching the lattice cube print for nearly 8 hours, I realized that it was rising from the FEP much more slowly than my prints had. I upgraded my version of Chitubox to 1.5 and took the speed down to 30, and the model printed with no issues!

hi all ?

I’ve searched the group and saw several approaches to the ultrasonic use. some pour water in the device and use a plastic bag with alcohol in it and others pour alcohol into the ultrasonic and place the printed objects in.

what’s the less alcohol wasting method ? and should we use the ultrasonics heating feature?

Why does my resin refuse to cure after a print.
I leave it under my lamp, tacky,
Take it outside, still tacky.
Spills and my IPA solution cures fine but all my prints stay wet.
Running monocure clear green and blue and same problem.
Any ideas?
