Pardon the bad photos and priming job. I'm still tuning in this resin and how to bring out the details, but what would be a possible underlying cause of the deeper lines running horizontal across the print?

I know I expect the normal lines of the print, but some of these run deeper than others.

For a Photon S when it's not printing or turned on but has resin in the vat, are fumes more a problem or less when compared to when it's printing? I'm thinking about purchasing one but want to know if I need to take any precautions between printing sessions.

New to resin printing... quick question. How do you know when you are over exposing or under exposing your first layers? Will the layers just not stick to the build plate? Or stick too strongly?

Hello again people of the internets. So if anyone saw my last post about the odd cracks/later lines I was getting on my prints, I took the recommendations and increased my exposure time from 5s to 9s. Here is the next print. Printed at 9s exposure and .01 layer with 8 bases at 60s exp. Using Monocure Rapid Grey. I got this thick supports and shit happen. Can this be over exposure??? Has anyone got an exposure test that is printable on the Photon S? I'm just a little bit running out of what I can think of...

How well does resin take paint without primer? I don't wanna clog up what little detail I have on 15mm prints. The brand is elegoo grey if that matters.

Hey all. So after letting the model cure in the sunlight for a bit I did a closer inspection of the base. I know when I poured in the resin there were quite a few bubbles so am I to assume that's what happened on the bottom of the base? Also I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the outside of the base. It is very rough and white almost like it was rubbing up against something for a while but the roughness is all the way around.

First print beyond the torture cube completed. Printed out a party of adventures from mz4250 at between 40%-55% scale. I went a little overboard on supports but at least the print didn't fail. The detail is to be expected, mz's stuff isn't the most detailed at 28mm nevermind 10-15mm, not a complaint be assured. All in all I call this a success. No way mt ender could have printed that staff or the halflings sword. I'm gonna clean them up a bit more and paint them. I'll post pics of the paint job. Should take me all of 90 minutes :) , one of the perks of 15mm.

Hey guys! Will print my first mini real soon, now. Since my Photon came bundled with plant-based resin, I was wondering : Does anybody know which settings I should use in Chitubox for the Anycubic plant-based resin prior to slicing?
