Playing with Anycubic Clear resin. Really nice, but I didn't wait long enough for the ipa to dry on the inside before putting it in a jar with water and curing it with my UV lamp. And YES curing it under water definately prevents the print to turn yellow! (IPA + Water = white fogging..)

Did my first prinst today (the test file from Photon) but had to stop very early due to the fumes/smell whatever you'd like to call it. (Anycubic Green Resin)
Maybe I'm just sensetive to resin but my throat hurts a bit now. I've been looking around a bit for ways to well make your air clean and I found this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2877754 which seems to be very good for a lot of folks.
Because of my lack of English and not using the imperial system I'm having a hard time finding the components I would require to run a setup using this rear vent adapter. Or perhaps if someone else got any solutions that they could offer? Feels like a let-down not being able to print because of the smell/fumes

Hello everyone. Just got my Photon yesterday, can't wait to get it fully working. Still doing a little of the learning curve. I've had an A10M for about a year now as well. So far I have tried to print 2 things, both failures, supports not thick enough and build plate adhesion. I just turned my bottom layer time from 30 seconds to 90, hoping that helps the Adhesion one, then just need to learn the differences between PLA supports and resin ones. But I do have a question.

One of the things I really kinda miss about my PLA printer, is I can tell when my PLA print is going to fail within the 1st 1-5 layers because i get to watch it draw everything (hypnotic to watch really), but in this I can't even start to see what is going on for about 2.5 hours into a print. Is there a way to give it a command so that at like layer 10 for it to raise up to 100mm hold for a few seconds, and then resume if I don't cancel it, and then again at like layer 50. A nice beep at the same time would be nice, otherwise I just need to set a timer on my phone or something every time I start a print to check in that window.

Got my twin rail upgrade in today and I have to say I am impressed. Ordered on the 24th of August, got it today, September 3rd, and took about 30 minutes to install. Shipping from Europe to Oklahoma took just over a week, which is much better than I thought it would be! Simply awesome! Calibrated and running a test print right now. Very pleased!

Hello Guys, Proud owner of a new brand new photon. Quick story short, I mounted everything, leveled the bed etc. and when I got to the LCD detection bit, it was nowhere near a "rectangle", more like a Line with artifacts popping on the sides. (see video "Before") Afterwards I tried the following test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlUkhSZafKw which was a complete disaster.. Not even close. At this point I was about to give up, faulty LCD, time to return it.. Had to try 1 more time, this time, for some odd reason, the test worked flawlessly (see video "After") Tried the test on YouTube again, worked like a charm, albeit it always stopped at 50% for some reason… (stopped at 50% even when it failed, so it must be something with the test I figured..) Consecutive tests all ended with good results, so yea, any idea what happened here? 翻譯年糕
