UPDATE: Problem appears to be solved. Contacted Anycubic support and the sent me a different firmware. Not sure of the number on it I forgot to check. But that seems to have fixed my problem.

OK guys. I need help. I had a problem that required a firmware update. I am now using the most recent photon firmware. I did a test print last night and it worked perfectly. I tried to get another print (different file prepared for printing the same way). Now I get one layer printed just fine and it resets itself after freezing for about 10 seconds. This is part of the same problem I was having before the update.

EDIT: I am using the same thumb drive as before. It is the only file on the drive.

Update: Attempted a power cycle. No change. Not sure how long it needs to be unplugged for one to work. So I am now going to wait over night and try again in the morning.

It is extremely frustrating that there is no seeming solution to this and I am unable to find anything on the GITHUB about this.

Questions:
Messed around with exporure finder. Lowered my exposure for AC green from 10 to 8. Now some supports failed in one corner of a full build plate. I guess this means the exposure is too low?

Also, I sometimes have a couple of tiny drops of resin under my fep. The fep itself isn't damaged. I wonder how this resin gets there?

Newbie here. Got two questions.
First, if I want to print one print after another, do I need to empty the resin vat after the first print, or can I just scrape the botom gently to remove the cured resin and hit print again?

Second, thoughts on anycubic grey resin?

Alita Battle Angel, I printed her in 1/12 scale which is a common action figure size. She's 14 cm high including the base. She's printed in separate pieces, layer height 0.04. Put some primer on her to see the details. A lot of work sanding the joints to make the pieces fit. Still not completely ok, but nothing a bit of putty won't fix.

So im really happy with the print time, ease of use and print quality of anycubic green resin. But can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative? as im now starting to print in volume and i need to lower my costs a little if possible. At the moment i'm paying £45 for a litre of anycubic green.

Hey everyone, got a weird issue I’ve not experienced before. My photon has worked fine since I got it, printed dozens of things with no real problems. I haven’t used it in a couple weeks and just got back to it. Re leveled the bed and cleaned everything added resin, but the z axis doesn’t seem to want to move during prints. I can move it with the manual control options and it homes fine, but on prints it doesn’t go up at all like it used to. I’m currently doing the test cube and it just layer changes on the screen without actually moving. Any ideas?
