I've been itching to doing some sculpting and downloaded Sculptris but unfortunately it's been crashing quite a bit, more so than makes it worth working with (especially since it is no longer supported). Is there another program that is similar to Sculptris without a heavy learning curve and preferably free (or inexpensive)?

I'm looking to start making my own mini designs and Sculptris is pretty much doing it but as I said it crashes a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Just a tip from a tip. Download Prusa Slicer and select the Prusa SL1 as your printer. Load your STL and use the support generator at 50% density.

It's the the best support generator and package I came across. No more pillars touching the object.

Export as STL with support and import into Photon Slicer.

This is my best way to improve prints at this moment.

Recently finished up a print of my Ripster sculpt. The two main issues I’ve run into are:

Crazy warping, as if the printer was shaken during printing.

Really bad artifacts left after supports are removed.

I’ve managed to find tips on when is best to remove supports, but the weird warping I have no idea.

Reading through this thread I have seen many disputes regarding proper safety and handling of resin. I have found the below MSDS for anycubic resin, wondering if others have found other information related to this stuff.

Looking for some orientation/support advice in general. Brand new owner, test lattice cube came out beautifully, went on to print the attached figure from hero forge. I spent the better part of 2 hours trying and retrying different support structures and orientations. Best I got was 30 small islands (as detected by Photon File Validator) that were in too small places to fit supports. What's the solution here?

Should I have gone into Blender and manually stretched some things to make them work?

I also am not sure what happened to the one side of the crossbow.

Ok, so firmware that is stable and does not suffer from Frame Shearing V4.011.....files show creation dates of 2017??? Is that correct? I have also heard mention of Epax. Could someone please enlighten us "Newbies" as to what firmware is recommended please.

Anyone else experience the LCD printing half or full screen snow/static? It randomly happens, I've printed the same stl multiple times and it starts randomly, even if part of the print is successful it leaves a sheet of cured resin on the fep film the exact size of the LCD screen. I've changed my USB and resliced this particular stl I'm experiencing this with but it continues to happen. I'll try to take a picture when I see it again, but I'll include one of the sheeting I'm seeing.

Hello all what is the lowest layer we can go with the resin that came with the photon? Is it possible to go .04 or .03? Thank you for any input
