Hey all, did anyone ever try to add Iron powder (like for cold casting) to a clear resin for the photon? If yes did it work and what ratio?

New test for dental dental model. I have tried this time with Chitubox but the model has been sticked to the FEP (not to the platform work). bigger base? settings? exposure time?

Printer: Anycubic Photon S , Resin: Anycubic Skin

And do you think that the dirt that is seen in the FEP can affect the next 3d impression?

Attempted my first print last night. Was a failure, but a good learning experience. Tonight i went for the benchy. Went well, but the post process cleanup is a PITA. Need to get an ultrasonic cleaner. (Harry Potter in the background.)

Precautionary tale:
Do not purchase this screen. Yeah, its cheep, and looks like the same type. Ok, so the shipping was slow, but thats not the issue.
Anycubic ships in a special box to protect the delicate screen. This one arrived in, in order of opening, a small bubble lined envelope, an anti static looking bag, and more bubble wrap. From China... with nothing to keep it from bending. No go. Put a return request in to Amazon

Hello everyone, like many of you, I've purchased Photon S and printed my a few first models (I prefer 28mm wargaming models).

1st had too light supports and failed,

2nd had too heavy supports which caused difficulties during cleaning, but overall came good.

3rd hadn't enough supports and failed,

4th came already good.

I installed news firmware and now I'm using latest Photo Workshop for slicing. After all, I need some answers:

1) How much resin will it use to print model? How can I calculate this?

2) Should I change default settings in software? What settings arę the best for perfect auto-support feature?

3) Can I mix different colours of resin?

4) How long do you wash (or bath) printed models in IPA?

5) How long can printed model wait on platform in printer before clean-up? Can somehow delay start printing when not home?

I just purchased a Anycubic Photon and I was wondering if the community knew of any good resources (other than the manual) to teach newbies (like me) how to set everything up. I’m specifically wondering about commonly made mistakes, tricky parts, and other stuff you wish you had known when you were first starting. I wish I could ask some specific questions, but I am so new that I don’t know what I don’t know. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated.
