Loving the Photon. Less than 15 minutes out of the box and I was printing my first print. I managed to print two models last night but will have to cure them when I get home later this afternoon.

Got bored so 3 parts Mono flex, 3 parts clear Mono, 1 part anycubic trans yellow and a pich of Gold pigments, so far sounds like its working ? 52% in and still hear that bliss crackle

Slowness, and quality oddities have pushed me to buy an Epax x1. I’ll still mess with the photon, but right now I can’t even print a test cube. Out of the gate I had reasonable success, but that ship has sailed. I think the extra uv lights and proposed out of the box calibration will make me happier.

I assume all of the resin settings will lower. That I can play with.

Saturday it arrives. Wish me luck.

Stupid question that I haven’t been able to find an answer for... if I have a .Photon file and you want to re-slice it (with different exposure settings for a different resin), can you open the file and slice it again? It seems to work but afraid of printing it in case it is t supposed to work that way...

Hey all! Brand new printer owner here checking in and saying I'm loving it so far, much less finicky than my monoprice mini v2 ? After trying to get all the right settings in chitubox and getting all my reference materials, set up was a breeze! The first/test print, a g-scale hydrant, came out great, so now I have a whole plate going lol. I'll mostly be printing out minis for my parents backyard railroad but I'm hoping to print out some of my ball jointed dolls as well and save myself the hastle of cleaning up PLA for casting ?‍♀️

If you guys have any tips or tricks for me, just lemme know! Bonus pic of our lightbox that's (literally) held together with tape and goodwill lol ?
