Hey guys... So i got the new machine last night and this morning my print was done... and it turned out awesome! Thanks to everybody for pointing me in the right direction and showing me that it was a broken machine. On another note, on the drive in to work i put on some sunglasses and thought, hey, i could print out new frame parts if they break. So the question is, is that true? If i print out one of the sticks, can it be used in a real world situation to replace an actual part?

Ok Cant find the post about the EPAX firmware update for the photon. Where do I get it? Is it as easy to install as the Anycubic Firmware? And is it reversible back to the Anycubic firmware?

Hi everyone! Looking into getting the anycubic soon and just had a question about ventilation.

My garage is 15ft wide by 40 feet deep, but has no windows (it's under my house). Do you think it is large enough size where the fumes would dissipate better and not be as noticeable or would it be best to find a way to vent to fumes out of the garage somehow?

The show's not over until the fat lady sings, but I honestly thought this print would have failed by now. I hear ChiTuBox has a slower pull in its gcode, which I suspect is helping keep these on the plate ?

Hi guys. I got my Photon 2 weeks ago.Got some good prints from it and some not as good. Mostly because I am still learning. Lately I have started to print larger flat pieces for a project of mine. The finished pieces bend and becomes bowls when curing. Their size are 100 x 50 millimeter (4 x 2 inches) and a few millimeters thick. I have tried with and without supports under the whole peice but with the same result. The detailing is awesome, BUT they bend. If I press one end to the table the opposite end is raised 5 millimeter, it should be flat against the table too. The pieces are probably useless. I am using the green resin that came with the printer. Any ideas?

So I read somewhere that translucent resin can be better for printing (I'm printing minis specifically) because it improves curing the model. (I assume the idea being that the UV can reach the interior?) Is this true/did I misread this. The translucent resin (elegoo specifically) is more expensive. Is it worth it? I'm trying to improve the sturdiness of my models, and especially avoid support scars. Thanks!

So, Nick , I was wrong. :O Apparently, the issue with your supports in ChiTuBox is related to a bug in the new update. I am having SO many problems getting supports to work since the update.
