i have a very noob question, i used fdm printer more times then i can count, but when it comes to the model sizes on fdm i dont have to worry much because i have plenty of space for it, the photon on the other hand doesnt have that big of a build plate, so my question is is there a way to make the files scale to the printable size of the photon and not end up with parts that wont match correctly to assemble them if i wanted to do them in the photon. thanks for any help in this and sorry to take up time of your day to help me!

My Photon S doesn't like models that came from Blender - is there a procedure to exporting as .stl in Blender for printing? The models slice in ChiTuBox without issue, but my Photon UI hangs when I try to open the sliced file on the printer.

It appears to be 'any' .stl from Blender, even models that I do not modify in Blender, I just import -> export. Anyone have an idea what I need to do?

Since most of us are wargamers, does anyone have or know where I can get an STL file for this bit? I think it's a Terminator Storm Shield. But I play TAU, so I'm not 100%. (A buddy in my league needs one more).

So I'm having a hard time editing supports in Chitubox. I'd like to move where the bottom of the support connects to the model, but I can't select the middle cylinder portion to move it. I can only select the bottom cone, and you can only realistically move that so much. I'd like to have the support not be straight down. Any help?

Does anyone know what the error "z=zero is decided by the trigger position" means? I am trying to level my bed but any time i try to set the new Z=0 distance I either get that pop up or one that says "Home first, then move Z to bottom!", even if i have already homed and moved it.

Installing the Physics Anonymous precision carrier on my Photon. Going very well, although there are a lot of holes to tap! One little issue I've discovered, the bottom surface of the column is only "approximately" square. This surface needs to be absolutely square. Looks like it's going to require some milling machine work.

I feel really dumb.

When I first started printing, 2 programs were suggested to me. Meshmixer and b9create. I use b9 to support everything I’ve ever printed and I swear by it. That being said, it’s a little outdated. (I want sphere contacts dammit!) I looked it up and yes... sure enough...

B9creator has been discontinued.

I was bummed for months when I learned that my program of choice isn’t going to ever be updated.

Well guess what I learned?

B9 is a fucking company that makes printers. B9creator isn’t their main program, it’s ONE OF THIER PRINTERS.

B9create is their flagship program. Just downloaded and my god is it night and DAY.

I tried formlabs and it didn’t workout for me. I constantly try chitubox and I can’t get it to work, but B9 is home.
