Here's a puzzler, been printing fine all week, same USB (not the one that comes with the Photon), same slicing software, etc, the file is good, checked the file on the stick after the failure.
as you can see the rear right quarter of the screen is printing fine.
Running Photon 5.5 firmware (EDIT read the wrong line, not sure what version of the firmware i was running).
spent an hour and a half scrolling through this page and didn't come across a similar problem, I know they're on here, just can't find them

Updated Firmware to Epax 4.2.18, seems to have fixed the issue.

For those interested, here is the Photon S's mainboard version 1.4. In the coming days I plan on connecting to the two comm ports to see what I can find.

Test print is done and went smoothly first try. (Was pretty nervous after seeing other people’s issues) I think I over cured it a little with as there is some white spots in some areas.

How long do you all cure your prints and is there a good guideline out there or is it more of a learn by experience and get an eye for it?

I’ve been playing around a bit with using 3d models from pc games for printing. Sadly I had to learn that most game models have an extremely low poly count, creating the look of a smooth surface mostly through skins. For some models, like this tiny Bombling from World of Warcraft, the blocky low poly surface looks fine, though.

Sorry for inundating the page with continuous questions lately, issues have been plaguing me this weekend. A great thank you to all those who have assisted me.

But I digress, yesterday my son wanted to help me when I was cleaning my machine so I gave him the easiest part, drain/strain the solution whilst I took care of the piece that was finished printing. When I turned around he was standing there sheepishly with the empty vat in his hands. I asked him whats wrong when I noticed the large bottle of Elegoo Green with the funnel in it and I had been printing with AnyCubic Grey. He accidentally poured the grey into the green solution.

Will there be any printing problems with a mixture of two different solutions or am I better off tossing it out? Thank you in advance.

help needed :) this is my second print. I used chitubox, 45 deg angle (tip pointing down), and added automatic support with few manual where slicer showed "red area". There is a thread on the top side coming in 3/4 overall height of the model. should i put one side of this pointy tip directly on the plate? it would have largest contact surface if placed with top side on the plate but i don't know if I can print it like that?
