Are there any slicers that hollow the models by themselves, or has "Horisontal expansion" or some other options as FDM slicers has ? What I have found on this group topics we're Anycubic slicer and Chitu slicer (which looks the same for me)

Turned out pretty good. You can see a slight variation in the color of the top layers where I added more resin and got the mix slightly off from the original.

i post this by request of Vinicius Silva

This is Creality LD-001 resin printer recently we bought for resin testing. it has some great features.

-wifi (you enter ip on your browser and you can upload and start printer through you browser)

-lcd changing is very easy. there is metal frame over lcd with 4 screws and on the left side of the printer there is cover to remove cable. i realy liked it how easy they made changing lcd

-it uses slicer called 3d creator slicer. i didnt use much but it looks terrible.

-after you slice the file when you click print it asks you bottom exposure time and normal exposure time. in some cases this is good

-when you place the vat over the screen it dosent have place to fit so you need to check if it fits good or not. (they need to fix this)

-build plate has mat surface glass. i dont know if its good or not yet. i made only one print and it was very easy to remove comparing to photon. it gives idea that wont hold big prints. i will print something big and see if its good or not

-leveling was easy. no need to adjust any z=0. just home the z axis and tighten for screws

-so far only one print made and result was good.

-3.5 inch screen seems better than photon.

-it uses rasperry pi board

Hi everybody, could anyone tell you why the impression is coming out deformed at the bottom of the ring?

I'm using Easycast resin purple castable, layer 12.5 s/ off time 1s/ bottom layer 100s/ bottom layer 10.

I know the problem is not in the resin because I already had this problem with other castable resins.

Hi, I work for an oral surgeons office and we recently purchased the anycubic photon printer. We’re having an issue with getting our own 3D print from the computer onto the usb drive and printing on the printer. The image doesn’t come up or gets recognized when the usb is inserted in the printer. We’ve saved it as an STL file but still nothing. Can someone please help!!

Sigh, this printer is about to ruin my cool. Just got the board replaced printed for about 12 hours total so far on the new board, started a new print last night and now the z motor is locked and won’t move. Just buzzzz when I try to home it. And of course it’s stuck IN a vat full of resin. Time to open ANOTHER trouble ticket...woooooot.... ?

The first print I made after the calibration cube a while ago, print came out pretty good and after a bit of sanding off the supports and primed it was time for painting, well it was the first time for me painting a minifig with acrylics, I particularly struggled with the eyes as you can see that in the final result, I did not paint any highlights or shadows and the green is not the same as the original character, not sure about the glossy finish for a cartoon character. Still a great learning experience :)
