Dear Group,
I have purchased a photon, and have spent some time reading your posts and collating a kit (it has pretty much everything you guys have suggested in it).
I plan to get setup and running over the weekend. I have an FDM printer and laser cutter and so have some experience with machine preparation and patience...
I have watched YouTube photon specific vids you have linked on film tension, plate levelling and gap setting. I have found them helpful and informative. (Tension setting with a bottle lid sounds crazy until you see it)

I'm ready. (Famous last words).

So;
Does my screen need to resonate at 350hz?
Do you have any general tips or things to look out for when setting up and for my first print?
Do you think I should dive in and start with the cube or run some exposure tests first?

Support pock marks

Hello printers! Supports continue to feel like black magic to me. How does everyone avoid these nasty pock marks that are left by the supports? I read of these sphere supports in Chitubox and that they supposedly leave no marks, but in the image you can see that that didn't really work out for me at all. It feels like I have no idea where to even start to fix this issue, so I'd be very very happy for every bit of help I can get. Thank you all very much! 翻譯年糕

I've noticed that Siraya Easy really stains the IPA. Anycubic Green didn't do this to me. Every time it's used I let it sit in my 60w curing chamber for a couple hours then strain it through a metal screen, then paint filter then twice through coffee filters. It's clear but orange now. Has anyone else found that the pigment in the IPA causes an issue? I'm going to be trying some grey resin soon.

Has someone encountered a problem like me ?
My Photon still print fine but it's will reboot when print update.lcd. With .bin it's fine. It is not the fault of the firmware file because I tried with different versions, it always reboots when I print .lcd file.

Regarding resin Calibration test.

As everyone is saying steps of 25um is not recommended as it goes into the universe of micro stepping, then would be nice to have files for 10um, 20um, 30um and 40um for exosure test..

Are there already by any chance?
