What can be done in this case? I've seen a number of models with paper thin walls (apparently some parts of the model are fine), but I couldn't find anythin that would work. When sliced, it's still this thin.

I keep running into the issue of the first couple of millimeters stick to the build plate. Then the rest sticks to the bottom of the resin tray. Anyone had this issue? So, recently I accidentally tore the ribbon on my LCD screen as it came up from the bottom of the printer. Well I got a replacement screen and did the replacement. I purchased it from the Anycubic store on Amazon and paid $70 for it. Replaced it very carefully using the instructions via the video.. and put the printer all together again and then, when I did the test screen to see if it was working... all I got was a solid test image instead of the hollow rectangular image that one would normally see.

I did a search on this group for this issue and saw that some one suggested just reseating the ribbon to the board so I did so and get the same image on the test print screen when I test it. At this point I am not sure what to do? I did try another screen that I had purchased just in case.. and it didn't work either

Not including the broken screen, I tried two different brand new screens on this issue and the same thing happened with them both. This printer is only 4 and a half months old.

I hope someone can help me??

Hello friends, I want to do my first firmware update on the Photon and update it to version 4.2.14.
Unfortunately I am not sure about the procedure and need your help:
The update contains the files of the picture. Is the following procedure correct?
1. put both files into the root directory of the stick
2. stick into the printer and then switch on
3. printer installs new firmware

Now I don't know what to do. Do I have to print both the .bin file and the .lcd file? Or do I only have to print the .lcd file?

help! I had to tidy away my printer but did not pack its power supply with it so now I have several supplies that will fit, can you tell me if the official one is 12vDC 6A and with the +ve terminal in the centre of the plug?

I have all the tools and accessories needed and I've levelled the build plate to the best of my abilities, so I believe it's finally time for my first test print.
To be honest I'm a bit nervous. It feels like so many things can go wrong! ?

Do I print the test cube without fiddling with any settings? If I understand it correctly, all settings are baked into the STL files, correct?
