I have seen some posts about people recommending people switch the USB they are using if they keep getting failed prints, is this really a issue? and if so how can I tell if the USB is going bad.

Hey photonsters! How are you doing?
I just finished another sculpt and wanted to share the results x]
A skeleton again, but very different - Armed, Armored and Broken...
Not designed to be a mini - this is around 18cm in height (1/10th scale)
Sculpted by me in ZBrush. Divided into 8 separate parts over 3 prints.
Supports placed by hand in Chitubox (pretty much medium supports)
Everything printed with AmeraLabs resin at 0.04mm thickness, 5.6s normal exposure.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for accepting my request to join the group. I've just got my Photon S lately and got my first print sucesfully, DnD mini.

I'm struggling a little bit with support removal tho. I've seen amazing clean prints of very complicated models some of you are doing and I'm wondering if anyone is using 0,1 OR 0.02 contact depth and contact diameter of 0,1 for minis printing?

I'm quite concerned those might pop off, but again i'm only setting up small prints and support removal basically messed my last print by either myself removing part of the model coz it was sticking too tight or leaving leftovers on the model (at 0.2 & 0.2)

Sometimes my supports don’t connect to the part and it leads to flat spots on my prints. I suspected the contact depth and exposure times needed to be increased, but that doesn’t always seem to work.
Is there another factor in this problem that I’m missing?
I use Photon Validator to fix pixel islands on all my prints in case that’s relevant.
How have you solved this problem?
