Here Is what i learned today. If you leave your print in alchohol for a long time(10hr) it will expand and become soft. So dont do this.
FYI.. had to go to work and was in a rush and thought what's the worse that could happen...

today, i got my photon (non s) unboxed and running for the first time. second print was success. (lets not talk about first try) went to power it on for after refilling vat for an ambitious round 3 but it won't power on.

included power brick is showing green indicator light.

disconnected from both ends a few times and waited for caps to discharge before trying again but can't get any sign of life on screen or internal fan or anything. aware of power switch by the USB port.

likely causes ?

How do i know if a light is emmitting uv? And if it is enough? ?

I have a grow light for my plants im wondering if itll work to cure prints too ? it can power a solar panel thingy?

Does anyone know how much the vat holds while printing. I have a print that is around 50 ml and want to print overnight but dont know if it will run out or not

I finally got around to getting a photon, looking for clear and/or translucent resin suggestions. Prefer as little fumes as possible though i understand that varies greatly. Obviously it comes with a bit and i grabbed some flex already for strong prints. Looking for brands/colors/links to the good resins.

I've been printing fine for a few days but when I try to print a Benchy directly on the build plate, it fails. I'm printing directly on the build plate, whereas my other prints were on supports. I haven't changed any of my settings, but after the first two failures I did clean out the vat and relevel the bed. It seemed like I could hear the pop of layers when the print first started. Do I just need to increase the base exposure time for the first 8 layers? Right now I'm using the included Anycubic Green resin at 50s for the 8 base layers, then 14s for every layer after that. I'm also printing with benchy parallel to the long side of the plate. Is that potentially causing my issues? Should I rotate it to be parallel to the shorter sides?

Edit: I also tried 50s for base, and 10s for all other layers
