More Siraya Blu/Tenacious blend testimony I have to share. I just love it. With 30% Tenacious added, they parts still feel very stiff and hard, but are very tough. Maybe this is something y’all have been doing for a while with Monocure Flex100, but this blending is new to me and I can’t get enough. The reason I stayed out of Resin Printing for so long was my previous experience with very brittle parts. This opens up a whole new world!

So, this was odd and I was hoping you all might have an idea as to what happened.

about 2 hours in, print was going great. Went to check on it and the build plate just stopped moving up. The screen would go layer to layer but the Z Movement - nothing.

I canceled the print and went to the move screen and it went up, pretty as you please, with a great, until it stopped moving up, print stuck to the build plate.

I'm scratching my head on this one. I'd like to hear from you all before I start any other prints....

Hey guys, so far my prints have been awesome from photon but just printed this big guy and have lots of striations. Is this a position/orientation thing or just a limitation of printer? I printed it upright and they are only on the slanted surfaces, flat surfaces are fine. I printed at 0.05 with any cubic green

I’m not new to printing but this is my first SLA printer. I printed numerous success prints but now I’m having problems. I will get to about 4mm into a print and it fails to continue. I will have about 4mm on the build plate and then there will be a cured layer on the FEP. Any ideas? I’ve went through and leveled numerous times but I don’t believe it’s related to leveling because the print starts fine but seems to have some kind of failure once it’s been printing for a bit.

Ok more experienced photonsters. How do you feel about this exposure card? I'm thinking all the way to 9-10 range, But I'm not sure. I've only done one of these a while ago and I didn't know enough then to really know what I was looking for.

So I got some siraya blu resin after hearing it was comparatively stronger that most other DLP resins. While it definitely has more elasticity I'm not so sure it's really that "tough". I guess if I want durable parts I'm just going to have to cast them into metal.
