Hello everyone.
So i was hoped that Anycunic will resolve my problem or at least find a compromise but seems that i had too high hopes for them.
Situation: my Photon worked for almost 5 months fine, but closer to November i encountered random restarts during print and soon enough my Z-axis driver was dead. I contacted support 1st November. At 7th of November they've sent me spare motherboard. I thought that problem with my MB so i was glad.
Well - no. Situation was not resolved and Z axis died really fast this time, so at 4th of March i was already speaking with Anycubic support. Asking them to help with restarts problem, they have told that we need working motherboard first. I told them that new motherboard is not a solution to restart problem. Another 20 days of delivery - another motherboard and no luck - restarts are still there.
Since than every day i communicate with Anycubic, tested all of methods they offered. Insulated it everywhere i could, tried different firmwares, switching USB sticks, tried different power DC. No luck at all. At this point, from 10 months i own this printer 5 months it doesn't work, and anycubic did not responce to warranty prolongation.
I want to send them printer and take a refund , but they keep telling me that no way they could do that. I wasted lot of resin, alcohol, other consumables on cleanup after fails, changed FEP films cause too many fails and assembling / disassembling printer.
Anycubic is willing to change my LCD display to "solve" this issue. I can't see how it will help, but anyway soon my warranty will end , and waiting for another 20 days of shipping and not be sure it will resolve my problem is really bad.
I also tried all known community methods such as increasing Vref etc... Still same restarts...
Situation is also complicated as support is answering maximum 1 time per day.
I don't know what i can do and what i should in this situation.
Printer was bought at AliExpress.
Dry prints goes well all the time, but as soon as i set VAT with filled resin ( doesn't matter which one - tried anycubic green also), printer fails at random place. Here are videos i have:
