Hi guys, chasing a flexible resin for a dust cap. It's a component we will have injection molded but we want to print a sample before spending 8k US on the tooling to do it.

Has anyone got any recommendations on a flexible resin. Red if possible but any colour will do. Thanks ?

Anycubic really should change packaging for z-rod and motor. support sent me z-rod for z-wobble problem and this is what I got today. motor got wet and damaged. single layer of plastic bag for z-rod is just nonsense.

So this is huge. Does the FEP make a difference. Yes. Actually Non-FEP makes a huge difference. This hack is the best thing I have come across in a while. While testing resin on the Epax and Photon S. I got a failure on the Photon S so I decided to investigate the Non-Fep on the Epax. Here are the results. Epax Non FEP - perfect print. Aftermarket FEP (amazon) - failure. Photon S FEP - Failure. You can get this Non FEP here. I have no idea what its made from but the Epax folks claim it lasts longer as well. It will work with Epax, Photon, Photon S and Shuffle printers. The print results are more dimensionally accurate. All films used in testing were brand new and tested on the same Photon S printer with the same resin and print file. Enjoy.

A lithophane in Siraya Blu. It took about 10 min to print on my Photon S and turned out pretty good.

P.S. I just put my png into http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ and downloaded the stl. I want to try making custom poker chips that way.

Printed in Blu on a Photon S at 10s layers at .1mm. Slight layer separation (the light area im the second picture) on about the 4th layer (only the part at the center of the bed). Reprinted with 12s layers and was fine. I love this stuff.
