Exciting times ahead, just spent the last hour cleaning and fitting a new fep sheet, tensioned to around 300hhz. Will be doing my first test print this weekend. Can’t wait !

Mac help. Ok guys my printer arrived yesterday, so i have it all unpacked and levelled but the software on the stick is for a windows pc not a mac. I have downloaded the slicer software from their site but cant get it to open the test cube. What am i doing wrong? I can see the RAR files on their site but cant unpack them? Thanks in advance Mark

Haven’t printed anything yet, but I picked up the cabinet that will for the basis of my enclosure.
I’ll be printing by the weekend. Can’t wait!

Quick question: Is it normal that the anycubic black resin is a quite a bit translucent? My prints have more of a smokey colour...
Printed well at these Settings: 0.05 / 12s normal / 90s bottom and 0.025 / 10 / 80

I've had a strange defect in my last print. Some of the small supports didn't print the middle, just the tiny nub at the base, and a tiny nub where it contacts the model. It's only some supports but appears in similar parts of the models. I've checked the .photon file and it looks normal. I've checked the UV light and that works fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

that popping noise....when the cured layer pulls off the fep. should that be for the whole duration or just the beginning ?

Quick question, chaps. Due to the clement weather here in the UK and my lack of a UV curing station I've cobbled together my own; I'm using a spare UVA / UVB full spectrum bulb to cure minis. These are the sort of bulbs you'd use in a reptile or coral set up and are the same spectrum as sunlight.

I'll see how it turns out in any event, but is this crazy talk?
