If I need to print something like a flat rectangle (not hollow), do I need to angle and add support? Seems unnecessary... but want an expert opinion

Printed the second building today. unfortunately the bottom floor window broke due to supports and the top decoration didnt print for no apparent reason, but nothing a bit of extra printing and glue cant fix. Doesnt look too pretty, but after the airbrush went by you wont see the clear glue anymore so its fine once again.

All together im pretty happy, a kubelwagen is added for scale. Again notice all the bricks and the super slick text on the front. Scale is 1:160.

Failed Chitubox print. So many people seem to love it and I'd love to see what the fuss is but no luck. In the 2nd photo is Anycubic heavy supports (left) vs Chitubox heavy (right) they seem very weak. For anyone who uses Chitubox successfully, did you tweak the support settings? Is the raft needed for success?

So all my prints, regardless of size and settings fail at 90% with a memory error M_11820. I know it's an issue with the USB cable because if I plug the stick directly to the motherboard I don't have errors. I tried 3 different sticks and still the same problem. If the cable is the problem, why all my prints fail at 90% instead of at a random number?
