So at 1/72nd scale this car is going to be 75 mm by 25 mm by 18 mm and it's going to take a lot of Wizardry to get it to print I got the model off of thingiverse it's the 66 GTO but I have to turn it into the 66 Catalina. I'm not a car guy so it's going to be kind of tough to make the shapes like the grill look like the grill off of the Catalina but I'm going to give it everything I've got because this is for a display for a fellow veteran John Bradbury.

Hey, does anybody tried to merge things in Photon Slicer? Eg. If I have two halves and put them close together, will they be printed like one solid piece?

Why do i get these random boogies of cured resin in between my models? Sometimes there's an even bigger piece just laying on the fep after the print in the vague shape of the space in between the models.

Ok - can't seem to get any prints with this Nova 3d resin. I'm sure it's settings. I used 12 sec Exposure and 80 sec bottom layer. With 9 bottom layers.

Here's the result. Supports seem to print but the rest of the model didn't. It was stuck to the bottom of the FEP. Don't think this is a leveling issue because the raft printed fine. Any thoughts? Should i try a higher or lower exposure.?

Just started my first print. :) I used the Flint Read method for leveling so hope all goes well. It is printing the photon cube. Any tips on how long it should be in the UV. I bought a 35w nail (half sphere) unit that sits above a mirrored turntable.

My first tech support post!

Ok, I'll post pictures in the comments but here goes: some of you may have noticed earlier today my having asked about Anycubic Green Basic resin versus Anycubic Green "Dental Castable" resin because Amazon accidently resupplied me with the Dental Castable rather than the Basic Green that I've been very happy working with.

Sliced file for some 8mm tanks that I've printed successfully 5 times using Anycubic Basic Green had some odd issues with.

On one of the two models on the build plate(first comment picture) a part of the model that was sort of recessed printed, uhh, not recessed?

On the other model on the build plate, it printed with a huge tear in the model(second picture in comments)

Third picture is the supported file saved as STL prior to slicing. Resin settings used were: .05mm layer, 10 bottom layers @ 60s each, 8s exposure time for normal layers. Same settings I've been using on standard anycubic green for months now.

Models are hollowed out and sliced in ChituBox. PIctures incoming shortly...
