Having a strange print issue:

Let's see if I can explain this, photos to come later once I get home.

Using the anycubic slicer, latest version, I insert/load my STL and add supports however, when I go to slice the file... some of the support goes away (overall model height shrinks).

And.. to boot the printer printed a raft, which I did not want... and the model was buried in the raft with some details/parts unusable.

Like previously stated, I'll add some photos of last night's print... it has been bugging me today.

I am planning on building a vented enclosure for my printer and it will be in the garage. Rather than cool/heat the garage I am looking into placing a unit like this in the enclosure to maintain proper temperature. Has anyone here done something like this?

I have my Photon in the garage. No issues printing in the heat, but seems nothing will stick to the plate in the cold. Is that an issue for others? I'm in Cincinnati, outside temp in the 20s today...

has anyone put together a pi based monitor for their printer. I have octopi for my FDM printer, and want something similar, it would be awesome if there was a way to interface with the controller to remotely monitor progress. at this stage thinking a camera, temp and humidity sensor, with relays to control the fume extraction fan and UV Curing light setup

Hello everyone!

Don't know if this is the best place to ask but i've been having a weird issue with my prints and haven't been able to find an explanation for it.

The base will print fine, but the supports around the perimeter won't print off the base. You can see in the picture included that their is a gap on the side between the base and the supports.

Has anyone encountered this, does anyone know whats the cause and how to fix it?

Model comes in low poly with a normal map that I used as a displacement map in Blender, I exaggerated it a little bit to have the details more visible, maybe slightly too much ;)

Hello , I got an anycubic photon last week and i'm trying to make it work but i'm having a hard time with it . Right now I had only one sucessful print with the clear resin they gave with the printer. I then purchased a wanhao yellow resin and tried again , I think I tried about 20+ times with different models and different settings and still can't get it to work .

I heard about the exposure test and tried it today , the issue I got with the test its that it came out blank as is just the yellow rectangle but without any details giving me away the exposure time I should put , what should I do about it ?(I ran the test-mode g code before trying obviously)

The other prints that failed started well with the base layers printing on the plate even with a few supports everytime but then nothing else , tried different exposure , model angle , releveling, changing base layers exposure . Currently I'm at 15 sec exposure , 1 off time ,100 bottom exposure , 8 layers,0.05 layer thickness.

If anyone could help me that would be great , starting to become insane : P
