Well it's gotten to the point where i don't need to see the print growing. Press play, watch the plate go down lay the first layer and lift, hear the fep thwack, and i close the lid and let it do it's thing.

So I got my friend to cut me a set of new panels in stealth matte black. But ruby red panels look sexy too. Can't decide, tossing a coin. Or put it to a vote? :-D

I bought some Anycubic Green Resin from Amazon but they sent me the Dental Castable instead of the Basic (normal) resin, now they don't want it back, but gave me a refund. Any ideas on what I can do with dental Castable? I know nothing about its properties. I mostly print wargaming miniatures.

Phumex! Built...looks good, not too noisy, (but logically that depends on the fan power as much as anything....wafty = quiet, blasty = loud). It isn't even visible, tucked behind, using the space taken behind to open the lid. BUT... the big question:....does it really work, does it absorb a significant amount of vapour, nearly all of it....or what? Is the suction sufficient that a makeshift polythene hood also over the front of the photon, covering the solvent washing area, also takes away the the fumes from IPA and absorbs those too...??? I'll let you know... ;-)

Hi! Are you guys all using this printer for figures? Anybody using it for engineering parts? Thats what I bought the printer for. Watertight, highly dimensionally accurate, and sometimes optically clear parts with high quality surface is what I am looking for. In addition to my FDM machines off course..., as an synergistic addon so to speak. Let´s see what it can do. Anybody else?

I see conflicting reports of print reliability. It seems when one uses AnyCubic resin, levels the bed, and uses default settings results are good. What is your level of print reliability with the Photon?

My second print ever and it's of my own sculpt. I didn't realize it would come out so small. It's hard to judge in the slicing software. I think I went overboard with supports also but these are really just tests for me.
