I know I have seen it somewhere here but cant find it. I am printing a Flat object and angled it about 30 degs and am finding layering lines in the final printed object.

My Settings

0.02, 11 secs exposure, 1 sec off, 80 Secs Bottom, 8 Bottom layers.. Monocure 3d rapid Grey..

Any Thoughts on what the sweet spot angle would be or more tweaks to my settings to drop the layering Lines.

Here is what I am modelling. Its a HO scale Model train grain wagon. My first Foray into Fusion 360 and using my Photon finally for what I bought it for. I know its not a Complex model but it has been a steep learning curve preparing a Idea into an actual model.

Aftermarket FEP?

I recently bought a pack of Dotbit FEP for my Photon. The first one I replaced lasted 3 prints then split at the edge of the tank causing resin to run through the LED into the machine. Ruined and thrown in bin as not salvageble. I bought a new Photon and continued to use the Original tank plus replaced FEP and after a week it has like creases in the film that ruined the print.. Yes it was tensioned correctly. Looks like bodgy FEP. Or have I missed something?

First time I have experienced this. A while printing I am hearing a Click noise as the build plate lifts.

Print adhering to the FEP? Then letting go.. Is this of or stop now and do again?

Gentlemen and Ladies.

I would like to know your Thoughts on the use of Kapton tape for sealing the LED screen and the Bed from any leaks from a leaking FEP.

I am asking this as I recently had a leak go right through my last Photon totally ruining it. Only the Electronics and the Ultraviolet Led unit were salvageable the rest went in the bin.

Today I just received a new Photon and wish to never have this happen again.

Your Thoughts on this would be greatly received.

I have just had my FEP sheet fail. I noticed it when I saw some resin seeping out of the front cover of my Photon. What would cause this? It was only replaced 3 prints ago. Using Dotbit Fep. Cleaning up is a bit of a disaster. I seem to have got my screen clean though.

I tried to print a tractor today but it turned out to be a disaster. Photon slicer settings are Layer 0.05, Normal exposure time 16s, Off time 1, bottom 60 and Bottom Layers 8. Any Cubic red. Any suggestions?
