Printing parts horizontally to the plate is a recipe for failures like this, because every single support has to hold. Try printing at an angle.

you should just paint the pliers green and call it done, the shorts look great!

You need thicker supports on the very bottom of the fails, then you can go thinner as you go up.

I got a case months ago.... so glad I did. I'm about to produce 400+ face shields for EMS personnel and people that are immunocompromised. Disinfecting in this time is more important over printing for myself right now in my opinion.

Dallas Winston Fitzgerald you, or anyone, is going to be really hard pressed to convince anyone that 6 bottles of rubbing alcohol constitutes an amount in excess of reasonable home, business, or personal use. Not to mention, ipa requires a reasonable stretch to even be covered as a "disinfecting device" under that EO.

Jake Walker only if your using medical/dental grade resin, some hospitals will even swing for antimicrobial/foodsafe resin but you’d have to talk to your local hospitals, a lot of places are different, I’ve been able to make them for my wife and sister in laws hospitals and am waiting on a reply from one other, but two others said they wouldn’t accept them

I worked in health care and biotech for years. I know a lot of the medical staff currently risking everything to help people infected. I'm currently running my printers around the clock printing ppe gear to try to help. A nursing home I used to work in has been identified as a corona-cluster, with 24 cases and more projected as more testing is done, with a number of the infected not expected to survive it. People I know through their families.

so, yeah, I'm taking this fucking seriously and I'm fucking tired of the shitbags 1) bragging about medical supplies they have that their community needs, which they're using for a fucking hobby 2) the pieces of shits white-knighting for those bragging pricks.

Kevin Boogaard if you go look it up on eBay it says that it's abs like so while it may not be directly abs it is incredibly strong I do have to attest to that.

How well does this stuff perform ? Tricky getting the right settings? And whats the burnout ?
