A quick resin question. I am a few prints in, all are successful (or good enough for me, at any rate, still learning). My question is, I have been leaving the resin in the vat, and it is working fine. I thoroughly mixed the resin before putting in to begin with, but before printing with resin already in the vat, do I need to stir it or mix it up in the vat? I have been reluctant to do so for fear of damaging the FEP.

A total noob question regarding odor. I am about a quarter way through my anycubic photon lattice cube test print with the starter bottle of green that it comes with, and what I can see looks okay. That said, there is little to no odor in the room. The room is good sized, and does have some small amount ventilation, but based everything I have read, I was expecting a lot more and a lot worse odor. Is this simply because the lattice cube doesn't actually have a lot of surface area curing at the same time, or is this potentially a sign that I am not getting a good cure? In short, should I be concerned because it *doesn't* stink?

So, now that I ordered a bunch of resin to augment my supply, I see it is going to spend a lot of time in the backs of UPS trucks in the freezing cold.

My question is, does getting cold/freezing once ruin the resin? Or as long as I am working with it warm, will it still be okay?

I received a Photon S for xmas, and am now getting the time to set it up. Something I hadn't considered is exactly where to place it. I have a dedicated building (I run a laser engraving business as well, and putting it there since I have a lot of venting already built in).

But the studio is extremely well windowed, and I live in the desert South West, with 330 days of sun a year. I had never given any consideration to the effect this might have on the resin in the vat.

So now I am torn about where to place it. I have a sheltered closet but it is far from the venting, but I also have a lot of cabinets. I assume it would be bad to keep it enclosed while running, just due to heat build up.

Is the resin in the printer at risk in well lit rooms? I am assuming so.

What sort of setup do you have for your printer regarding physical placement and location?

Any other obvious things which you wish you knew regarding the actual physical placement of your photon prior to getting started I might not be thinking about?
