Good morning group. I'm trying to make dental models with removable stumps and I'm going too much to friction. Could someone tell me if you have to touch any parameter in exocad model creator, or in the parameters of anycubic software to fit correctly in the model? Thank you very much in advance.

Anyone else have issues with a temperamental USB stick? I swapped mine out straight away for a 16GB toshiba one, slow formatted to FAT32, but it seems like random chance if my photon actually recognizes it, like if it does it usually takes a couple tries going in and out of the print menu for it to show up. Is my replacement a dud or is it something worse?

Love the color and translucency of the Siraya Easy Orange. 0.05mm & 13sec exposure. I think 6 base layers at 60sec. Flat on plate without supports. 44min print time.
(Pendant bezels for resin pouring.)

My remix of Jarrod Smith 's vent plate for his 3M 6001 filter setup, now with SD card slot, bulkhead style ethernet jack, and XT60 power jack, is done.

If you want some different variation of the vent plate they are pretty easy for me to slap together. For example if you want the keystone style ethernet jack, or just want hexes instead of photonsters style grill.

I recently bought some non FEP from Patrick Gehring in Germany. And I must say it's really good. You can feels it's a lot softer and not so foil'ish (Dont know if that makes sense)
Both on my Photon and Mars I had a lot of suction on my standard FEP and often a failed print because it pulled it off the plate. So far I'm very pleased with the performance and haven't had a failed print yet.
I payed 7€ + Shipping for 1x A4 which is enough for 2 VATs.

The resin I'm using at the moment is Harzlabs Model Resin Black

evening all. something new today i’ve noticed after swapping from .05 to .02 on my
prints.

they all have what seems to be double bottom rafts.

i’m using same settings as 3Dprintingpro videos, AC grey at 6/12/80.

very odd to me. only reason i noticed was because i had 2 prints crack when removing from my plate. 1 was so stuck i had to use a metal scraper and soak plate in ipa

normally i would pop off with a fingernail or a plastic scraper

thanks for any insight
