Just finished my first 3D print! ? ✨

Certainly not the cleanest break from its supports lol.. first time working with ChiTuBox as well. In hindsight, I guess I should extend the base supports away from the plate to give the characters more room to break off? (I might've left mine at 1mm from the plate..)

What slicing apps do you folks like to work with btw?

Can’t figure a way to remove them from the plate. Already hurt my hands trying.
Ideas?

Hello hive mind. I have noticed that my recent models have lost detail on the side facing my lcd screen. I had read this was a common issue due to the manufacturing process, but just recently started noticing it on my prints. If I understand correctly this is caused by light bleed on the side facing the LCD.

Is there anything I can do to reduce the behavior? Tried searching, but really only found post stating it was a thing not how to compensate or minimize the effect.

I am currently printing with Siraya Fast Gray at 8 second exposure on a Beam3D Prisim which utilizes a 57 watt parallel LED array. I thought I was over exposing as its got a similar loss of detail, but if I drop to 6 or 7 seconds I have issues with support not properly attaching and the model does not have as defined details on portions not facing the LCD.

Unfortunately I am at work and forgot to take pictures, but had a few minutes to post so wanted to get some thoughts. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

** Edit as I was writing this post I realized I also made a change to using Prusa auto supports at about 75% density which gives me great results from a support perspective, but previously I was manually support every model. Could it be that the resin is not able to flow away from the model between layers due to support density/size?

Hey everyone! Hope anyone can help me on this one. Got a Photon recently, and the test are doing ok in general, as I'm slowly learning how to support things for print and so on.

But there's this problem. I bought the printer to print (and eventually sell) minis, but sometimes this happens. The printer just looks like it... Skiped a bunch of layers on just part of the model.

Am I messing up with the supports or settings? Printed another one earlier today and things went out fine while other tests I did ended up this way too, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Hope your prints are going ok, and TiA.

Once again anycubic has altered their page so much that product package description doesn't match the option up top to pay, say's you only get resin with $299 pack but yet most expensive is $279.

When ordering my machine pack list said box had a starter bottle and never got one.. Just be careful of their constant practise of swapping what you "might " get.

Still missing a bottle to this day but telling them is worse than talking to a wall.
Get stupid response's about stock and warehouse's.
Bout time anycubic stop this dodgy practice and stuck to one package and machine, get the slicers right on the pages for each model and get your customer service up to scratch. English translators are everywhere now so no excuse.

Dont be fooled.

P.S Love the machine

An exciting new problem. See the snip of the build plate. This dude on the right is, um, not right? These models were supported then exported in Prusa, ready to slice in Chitubox, but that one model shows up like that when opened. Trivia: he is a mirrored copy of one of the other models. Any ideas?
