Good morning all,

I just printed tis miniature and the base came out a little warped. The edges and underside look like they got hot for the lack of a better description.

Would this simply be a lack of support issue? The rest of the print is great.

The supports were done in Prusa Slicer then printed from ChiTuBox. I included a picture of the support setup at the base.

Thanks for any advice.

So I was using the anycubic clear resin, and my prints were coming out just fine. I got anycubic grey resin and tried that, and either it will print the raft and start to print supports, or not stick to the build plate at all. 3 prints failed, but checked level and adjusted settings but they all failed.

Hi, I am considering to get an Anycubic Photon or Photon S in the next few days, and got a question. My workshop room is quite poorly ventilated, and is door-to-door with the kid's room, so I would like to avoid placing the printer there. I consider to place it into the garage, where I have some space. In winter, I have about 12'C there, in summer around 25-30'C, according to my car's built in termometer. It might get colder for some short time, if I open garage to get my car out, or also warmer in summer. Is such a range ok for the Photon? This way both resin fumes and the cleaning smell can be kept out completely from the living area...

Does somebody have a clue why this happens at random with different resins.
This was now AC grey and it happened with AC black an red.
As said, random... the same *.pws works the next time I press print.

Shame about the wasted resin -.-'

PS: my photon S is not yet updated with the latest FW and exposure times come from the google doc and works like a charm, except those times it gives me that surprise.

Can any tell my why this keeps happening. This is the third time the print hasn’t been sticking to the building I’ve calibrated it using the paper method and the paper can be pulled out but not pushed in. I did some research and heard the it could be the anycubic resin or that I should try the flint method to calibrate.

Built a curing chamber. I used PVA glue to stick silver foil to the sides, but added too much and it squeezed out into the corners.
I just left it as I figured it would dry within a few hours.
Its now been over a week and not only has it not dried but there is a strong chemical smell.
The UV light isn't effecting the pva is it? Is the smell just from the resin curing?

Dear brethren in the Photon,

I need advice. I'm about to start selling my prints (based on my own sculptures), and I need to find out the best resin. I am hesitating between two, AmerLabs AMD-2 and Siraya Blu. Both have their strength, I look for opinions from those who tried, used both. Ameralabs is tempting because of the short curing time Siraya Blu is because of the strength and resistance.

For those of you who are still using only the sun to cure your prints, trust me, this is way better. 15 bucks for leds and some aluminum foil. I used to be a sun user, but forget that noise. These parts have cured EVENLY in 15 minutes or less.
