Question. Im having something happen with one of my photons. There is a VERY light band perfectly spaced on some of the prints. This machines z rail and eccentric nut has already been adjusted and there doesnt seem to be any movement. It doesnt happen all the time. Any ideas?

3 months after getting into resin printing, first painting projects are finally starting to complete. Here's a look at my first 2 that I just finished this week! I'm stoked. The mech was a gift for a friend of mine who loves mech warrior. The dreadnaught is an homage to my past love for tabletop gaming in my teenage years.

Finally finished printing and painting Stationeers rover. Wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, as I haven’t built any model kit for about 30 years, but still an ok-ish attempt, I reckon. :-)

I just had my stepper motor fail. Seems like it seized up. I think it is a Nema 17. Can I just swap out the motor or should I open a ticket with Anycubic? ?

Hi all, just got my Anycubic printer, having a hard time finding a place to set it up at home as my apartment isn’t that big, and I’ve a few pets so setting up indoors is out of the question as I’m afraid of the toxicity of the resin.
I intend to purchase a wooden cupboard , and place the printer in it, with the whole set up being on my apartment balcony. It will receive a fair bit of sun, hopefully it being in the wooden cupboard will block some of the UV rays.
My other question would be, is there an ideal temperature range for the Anycubic to function in? Daily temperature around me ranges from 28-33 degrees Celsius (82-92 Fahrenheit). Is this too high, will it damage the resin or the printer in the long run? Does anyone know the ideal temperatures to operate the Anycubic photon in?
