So I printed off this sphericon and I dont think these 2 halves are very close to fitting together... any advice? The hole seems to be to small and have a sort of lip to it

I've noticed recently that I'm having a fair bit of issue with residue after each print, so I'm doing a quick overhaul and review. I'm noticing this issue with the UV test, where everything looks fine at an angle but light is coming through in splotched areas when I look straight down. Any suggestions as to the cause and how to fix?

Note: I was getting heavy glare when photographing the angle shot, but trust me when I say I can't see the splotched areas from that view.

Hey All... ?
I used to print on a wanhao 7D plus printer, but now I have shifted to the photon. Dos anybody have any expirence with Blue cast resin? And what settings are you using?

And, I have bin told that the light off time always has to be 6.5sec dos any of you have anything to say about that?

Hi everyone.

I just got my Photon 4 days ago, but i have alot of issues with the first couple of layers getting stuck to the FEP film instead of the print head.

And it seems to only be part of the surface that has the issue, see image. (The red parts are where it fails.)

What am i doing wrong?

I have tried to change the FEP film and different settings.

Interesting results. Elegoo Black 0.05mm layers, bottom layer count 8, 14 sec exposure, bottom exposure 70 secs, anti-aliasing 4. Lots of tiny grooves perpendicular to the build plate across all surfaces. Any thoughts? Photon with twin rail mod fitted. Other resins don't seem to have this finish.

Seems that I don't manage to print a hollow cylinder (an Android figurine). One side of the bottom lip retracts, all the times. I added more support, re-calibrated the printer, nothing. In the last attempt the platform even detached.

It is as if there is a lot of strain on one side of the print and it pulls away so much that the supports or the platform break.

Any tip how to avoid this?

So I've re-levelled, tightened the FEP to 320Hz, upped the angle and the amount of supports, took the thing apart and made sure the z axis eccentric nut was tight (it was already tight the hole way up and down the axis) and I'm still getting annoying random lines appearing! Any other ideas? Is it possible the z axis is too tight? Meaning there isn't smooth movement? That's the only thing I can think of at this stage.
