What would be my guideline to how close supports should be to each other for the base. I watched countless videos and none pf them say this much for this far apart.

This isnt a Photon specific post so please forgive me if I'm breaking any rules.

However seeing all the KILLER mini prints on hete has me wanting to try my hand at both printing and detailing some. What would you fine folks recommend as a good starter paint set? I've been eyeing up the "Army Painter" brand stuff on Amazon. I'm in the US so likely isn't much I can't pick up. I've built auto models for years so I'm only familiar with your basic enamel paints for stuff thats meant to be shiny and almost cartoonish.

Ya'll may laugh...but, found one of these at the GoodWill for $1 and sure enough, it works wonders in my 3 part bath for cleaning...AND...I will never clean my prints/supports again in anything other than HOT water for my 3rd bath. So I got a new bottle of Elegoo Grey from Amazon in. It expired 3 months ago (j/k it was made 3 months ago) but that should be no big deal right? Then I opened it. Wierd thing is, the threads on and under the cap have that grey color but the insides not so much. I shook the hell out of this bottle too.

Painted the hair and eyes with a darker transparent blue paint before clear coating.
Pretty happy with the results. Got 3 running at a higher resolution overnight.

So I think I underestimated how big this sucker would be. It's printed in Siraya Blu for decent toughness. 100 percent solid for all pieces except for the grip so this thing is HEAVY. Still gotta sand down some parts to reduce friction for the moving parts and remove support blemishes. The chamber rotates when you pull back the hammer which functions as it should when the trigger is pulled and the reloading mechanism should work. Gonna make some alterations at some point to look more steampunk but for now I just wanted to see if I could print out just the regular design. I'd say the results speak for itself.
